Update Saints to interview Mike McCarthy in person during this week, Jan. 26-Feb. 1 [Underhill: McCarthy would have to be the current favorite] (59 Viewers)

WTF is this nonsense above.....

Brady is handling the job at hand just fine, last I checked Allen has cut way down on the turnovers and if they win Sunday will be in the SB..... and how many young coaches routinely turn down promotions? Seems there is a reason he may be getting promotions, no?

And you continue to spread the BS about Brady discrediting the job he actually did at LSU while ignoring the fact that he received the Broyles award in 2019 given to the top assistant coach in college.....seems odd that he did so little but managed to get such an award....

Nobody knows if Brady is a leader of men yet, just like any other 1st time HC....It's a risk for sure but despite the BS you're spouting he has an impressive resume and is only 35 years old....
Yup of course it's the Broyles award , how could I not see it?? Let's make sure that the next Saints HC has won the Broyles award and we can't miss, ( Scarsam Off)
I'm quoting what Ensminger said about playcalling @ LSU . and that's discrediting

Haaaaa! Nailed it.

Its unreal. I think he has 2 hats. 1 has names. The other has "defend" and "dont defend". Theres no rational explanation for most of it. He has spent the better part of 2 weeks telling us how ready Glenn is, who has never fielded a top half of the NFL defense.....while now poo pooing on a guy who has had far more success (albeit some hiccups) than Glenn has had as a DC.

I would like to know though.... how hot does iron need to be, to be a success. A way with words that one has.
If that's what you get from what I said, then Ray Charles has better eyesight than you my friend. If ranking are all that really matter to you then you would have not hired a guy that never had a offensive ranking higher than 16. And you would have passed on Sean Payton. Rankings are not the say all do all. A GM looks for a guy that has attention to detail, is a leader of men. A true motivator, ALONG with being great with X's and O's

The mark of a great coach is one that takes lesser talent and achieves greatness, not one that takes great talent and just maintains or bumps them up a little

I want to see Brady take lesser talent and make them great before I anoint him the next Lombardi. Heck I'll take him doing what he did for more than a yr and half.

WTF does anything that Ensminger say have to do with anything here.....

Where is he now? I can tell you where he isn't, he isn't the OC of a team one game away from the SB.....

And you continue to totally miss/ignore why a team with one of the top young QB's in the NFL pursued Brady in the 1st place....

Total clown post above, shouldn't have expected anything different.....

Ignore feature works almost great. Would be real nice if you couldn't see that they posted at all but that would make dealing with replies really weird.

People on this board insult Jerry Jones every chance they get, and then reveal themselves to have the exact same mentality about coaching hires as that old curmudgeon.

2020 - 4th (Daboll)
2021 - 9th (Daboll)
2022 - 2nd (Dorsey)
2023 - 3rd (Dorsey/Brady)
2024 - 2nd (Brady)

Brady went to Carolina and failed, just like Kellen Moore went to the Chargers and failed. Both coaches got another opportunity with a much better roster, and those rosters got their names added to the HC shortlist.

Since you’re saying he went to Carolina and failed, I’m going to do the same thing with the Carolina offense since 2019 that you did with Buffalo:

2019 - 341.8 YPG, 21.3 PPG

2020 - 349.5 YPG, 21.9 PPG

2021 - 298.9 YPG, 17.9 PPG

(*This is the year Brady was fired after 12 games. In Brady’s 12 games, the team averaged 19.7 PPG - the 5 games without him they went 0-5 and averaged 13.6 PPG).

2022 - 306.2 YPG, 20.4 PPG.

2023 - 265.3 YPG, 13.9 PPG.

2024 - 298.0 YPG, 20.1 PPG.

Even Joe Brady’s “failed Carolina years”, he had the best offensive season that franchise has had since Cam Newton was an MVP contender…

released/not re-signed, those people consider it the same thing.
i agree it's not the same thing, but the ones who don't want him are calling it that..
Yeah, clearly not the same thing no matter what they think. He was not under contract and walked away from negotiations. But people see what they want to see I guess.

That’s why we are constantly over the salary cap more than any other team? Spending more than anyone else. Because all we do is bargain hunt? Get out of here with that crap.
you got my cause & effect backwards. Saints like a good bargain because of the salary cap situation, not the other way around. and it was sorta said "tongue in cheek". i guess the attempt at humor failed...
