It's hard to expect to have a top flight team when each year this team is at least $10 millon dollars under the given amount for each NFL team. With that said I have to be satisfied with the present record of the Saints. In defense of Tom Benson and the Saints front office that number may be due to the fact that top free agents avoid coming to New Orleans. The good news is that it seems the trend is changing and it looks like organizations will start relying heavily on the draft, in the future, to build their teams. Not too many top shelf players are becoming available for free agency.
