Haven't seen him play a ton.. but have just never watched Herbert and thought that he was special.

He's definitely a starter and has the tools and size.. but.. something is missing.

Chargers, the west coast saints. Offense sputtering the 1st half, can’t get a TD to save their soul. Defense does great for most of half, except when needed. Eventually the other team overcomes the saints defense and starts getting their groove.

Isn’t that how the Chiefs advance every year? The divisional round is always an easy one for them. They only have to survive the conference championship game.

I know a lot of people at first thought Sean Payton was going to wind up with the Chargers and I think with his kind of coaching Herbert could thrive. I think he’s never really had a great QB coach.

When Sean bought that new home in Southern California it certainly seemed as if the decision was already made to make him the new Chargers head coach. Maybe they had talks that broke down when Sean didn’t get complete control of all football decisions like he’s getting in Denver.
