Scott Linehan joining Saints coaching staff (15 Viewers)

If Moore hast the same acumen that Payton has, I think he will end up a better coach for New Orleans because he doesn't have the prickly pettiness that Payton has which burned a lot of bridges for Payton, especially with the league offices and referees.
Moore better get prickly quick because I don’t know if you’ve noticed but apparently the leagues dislike of the Saints didn’t leave with Payton. So Moore is going to experience some of the same things from the league and officials that pushed Payton to want to quit. 😜

So he's CSP without the chip on his shoulder, so he's Sean McVay?

Oh, but if they don't hurry up and hire a head coach, he'll never be able to hire any good assistants

At all comes full circle.

When Sean Payton was hired, Scott Linehan was one of the top head coaching candidates (I believe he was 1a and Brad Childress was 1b in that hiring cycle). Now Linehan has finally arrived in New Orleans 20 years later as an analyst.
