Also, question for anyone who is familiar with the laws: it is alleged that the security at the (now closed) hotel accepted the $50k bribe to hand over the video. What are the implications for the person who accepted that; if any - since it was on private property & no police report was filed.

Did the police ask if there was video during the investigation? And if they did and were told no, shouldn't someone be charged with tampering or obstruction?

I was thinking there wasn't an investigation because Diddy paid off everyone involved before it got that far.

Someone also likely sickened by Diddy's long-rumored, long-running, twisted and illicit bullshirt but having clever, powerful lawyers and "persuasive business interests" around just in case to bribe poorly paid cops, DA's/ADA's, other corrupt elements in our legal and political system that's allowed him to get away with it. His ultimate Ray Donovan "enablers-fixers" and this is one particularly shocking way, perhaps the only way to truly have a chance at holding accountable.

Just like Ray Rice, before him and yet I still think it will be infinitely harder and more difficult and perilous to bring Diddy's House of Cards down compared to a star Pro-Bowl RB who punched his then-girlfriend, now-wife out inside an casino elevator and then proceeded to drag her unconscious body out. (Reportedly, the casino's then-director of security claims that months before the TMZ video leek, Roger Goodell was shown the infamous KO punch inside the elevator and ordered it to be buried or eliminated, Goodell, of course, denied these claims).

I read her 30-something page lawsuit when all this came out and my heart sunk. Nobody could make up the level of detail that she went into about what all she endured.

Unbelievable (yet believable) that the hotel was ‘paid off’ to keep this a secret. Disgusting for any and everyone who enabled this sicko to abuse her (and likely all the others that have come forward) for so long either by helping him directly or by staying quiet and keeping his secrets. Dirt bags.

The statute of limitations is very unique.
The time doesn't run till police know of the crime. And doesn't run if the suspect is out of the state just to name a few.

Which makes me wonder how many more celebrities have similar “dark deeds” like assaults, battery, beatings that occurred at tropical, plush 4-5 star hotels either 2-3 years ago, 6 months ago, or 15-20 years ago they themselves have forgotten about but don’t know that surveillance cameras have them dead-to-rights committing the acts……

Yep. Nobody believes this. All it makes me think is how many other women he has beaten in the interim. Also makes me wonder how he treats his daughters. Not to mention the trafficking stuff.
