agree on all fronts. I’m a big smoke/fire guy, how I knew Coach was gone before it was announced.

The win felt good for every Saints fan. But we are entering the ‘meat & potatoes’ part of our schedule and it’s going to be hard to make ‘come from behind’ victories happen on a regular basis. We must find a way to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Getting leads on the scoreboard will be vital to having a legitimate shot at a postseason berth.

Lots of injuries and lots of questions still left to answer in year one for Dennis Allen. Hopefully we’ll get some good breaks soon.

I think Sean is really comfortable at where he is now. And he will only get even more comfortable as he relaxes when in camera on Sundays and get higher profile opportunities.

I am not saying he won't coach anymore, but to do so, it has to be a really special situation, and those only come rarely.

I'm skeptical that Brees will take on the grind of coaching any time soon. He seems to be genuinely enjoying the time with his wife and kids, being involved with their activities and upbringing, and otherwise keeping busy with other business endeavors.

Of course that's speculation like all of the rest of it.

Yeah, but these are two men at different stages in life, having followed different paths in football.

Brees has time to spend with his family now, and years ahead for a second career in football, if that's what he wants. It's also not like he doesn't have other things going on, providing him places to channel his drive and goal setting. He doesn't play football anymore but he's not retired.

I don't see Brees coming back to coach....the hours are the same as for a player and he seems like the type that actually doesn't want to pull a Tom Brady.
