Sean Payton gives his opinion of Kellen Moore (Potential Saints HC Job) (41 Viewers)

Your screen name is also appropriate because you sound like a toddler that missed his nap. Shall I call the whaaaaaambulance for you? Grow up. People leave jobs after long periods of time. 16 years is an eternity in the NFL. But considering you sound like you’re 10 that wouldn’t make sense to you.
Wow. Such a comeback. I'm impressed. Feel your anger. Let it flow through you. Let it splash out onto the page. Or something like that. Fine job, truly. Fine job.

But you really did get your feelings hurt, huh? I'm sorry. I often forget how we are supposed to handle the most fragile among us. So, is CSP your daddy? Or do you wish he was? Or should I not bring it up? It's all ok. No one is going to hurt you. You can feel anyway you want about CSP. It's really, really ok.

And I'm so sorry you can't handle a little bit thrown back your way. You do know that the only reason I even replied to your post was that the way you posted exhibited such emotional strife toward my original post that was in no way directed to you? Right?

I know you need some help if you're that invested in a guy that no longer wears Saints colors. So maybe this, offered again? Seriously. Broncos. That's the ticket. They even made the playoffs this year. It is truly your best bet for a less stress existence. And you can cheer on your daddy (oops) to your hearts content.

Oh. And I've been thinking about your screen name. You could make it just a little bit better, you know. Just add "Sean Payton's" in front of it. Perfect.

And thank you for this. I'm a little down this evening so this humble bit of stress relief is a godsend. See you in the morning. Sweet dreams.

If in your eyes, 16 seasons of unprecedented success, offensive records broken, countless hours devoted and a Super Bowl victory makes a guy a quitter when he decides he's done, then I would have to agree---------you are very confused
I really think it does a disservice to Payton’s tenure here.
There’s about 22 teams that haven’t had a coach reach 16 seasons with one franchise.
And even during Payton’s press tour this week, he’s been nothing but complementary of the city.

Man, I’m really sorry you’re so emotional about this. I can only assume you’re a very young, fairly new Saints fan. Most of us have experienced so much heartache and incompetence that having a 16 year run of the most successful football in our history earned the guy a place on the Saints Mt Rushmore. And if he felt he needed time off or a new challenge then best wishes to him. But if you’re a late comer, spoiled by success then I understand you might feel a bit bitter. It’s like when my children get mad that I’m leaving for a work trip. When you grow up you’ll understand.

In the meantime, no hard feelings. Best of luck to you, lil fella.

I'd love to know why he took the year off in the first place. There's been enough from the media to know that he wanted to come back but the Saints didn't want to do DA dirty.

He misses home. He doesn't like to see what he built get this low.
Yeah, Payton is very prideful. We were a totally different team and they always played hard no matter what…

Man if that turns out to be true....then they are dumber than I thought. Letting SP go so you don't disrespect Dennis frickin Allen? That is truly wild.

In his final press conference, Sean Payton himself said that he thought about just taking a year off, but that wouldn't be fair to Dennis Allen. He didn't say the next coach, he said Dennis Allen. That seemed like a tell that Allen would be the next coach before the coach search even began. It also indicates that Payton also didn't want to do Allen dirty, so he probably didn't try to come back after his year off like the whispered rumors say he did.

That Cam Jordan comment was exactly what I’ve been saying about the hottt 🗑️ DA era. A man who sulks and gives off a defeatist vibe, is not a man I want leading my team.
