Seattle Tailgate and other questions (1 Viewer)

Where would it be then? Would the Seahawks honestly share their facility with the opposition?
A walk through at the stadium is not unheard of.
Payton did say that they would practice in Seattle on Saturday.

This has potential as the site of the post game victory party spot or the post game sorrow drowning spot.

Will be in Seattle for the game. There's a bar in Pioneer Square, near Quest Field, called the New Orleans Creole Restaurant, that sounds promising. Anyone have any other suggestions or know of any tailgating plans?

Alas, I won't be able to make the game, but if anyone finds out where the Saints will be practicing on Saturday, I'd love to bring my kids down there to cheer for 'em.

It says that it is a short walk to the Stadium and it will be open on the 14th. Sounds like a decent place to gather if there is no organized tailgate party.

Hoping to meet some of you folks in Seattle. Driving in from BC Friday morning, staying at a B & B in Capitol Hill for 3 nights. Got a busy itinery. Touring the Asian Art Museum, Arboreteum, Water Tower, etc. at Volunteer Park Sat. (visiting Bruce Lee and son Brandon's grave sites in Lakeview Cemetary right behind the Park). Sat. night going to Intiman Theatre in the Seattle Center to see a live performance of To Kill a Mocking Bird.

Sunday to the Seattle Symphony (Mozart) at 2 p.m. (This was the compromise for not finding a Saints ticket for my wife but eventually I caved and found her one in a different section than I.) Anyhow, sitting in sections 324 and 321. Anybody here sitting close to that area? I think it's the spot where the SeaHawks fans prance around with their 12th Man flag. Hopefully the Saints will keep that parade to a small sidestreet shuffle.

Hoping to connect after the game with fellow SR.com and Saints fans if anybody is up for it.

Cheers.

Looking for win #1 to start the comeback of all seasons.

WHO DAT!

Practice closed to public - unknown location

Yesterday I emailed Jim Henderson from WWL-Channel 4. He confirmed that the practice is closed to the public and did not tell me where practice was being held.

A word of caution on Pioneer Square. FWIW my internet research about Seattle indicates that Pioneer Square should be avoided at night because of the druggies/street people who hang about there.

I will be driving in the general direction of Seattle tomorrow from Calgary. I have family in Vancouver so I will be visiting them and leaving to Seattle for the game on Sunday morning and then returning to Vancouver that night following the game.

Does anyone know ways to get to and from Qwest Field? We will be driving but are willing to take transit if it is the best option as I assume it is extremely busy driving around the stadium both before and after the game. Would you suggest parking somewhere and walking or taking transit or something else I havent thought of. I will be there very early so getting to the stadium isnt the biggest problem but because we are driving back to Vancouver right after the game we would like to be able to get out as quickly as possible. With that in mind what do you think is my best bet? thanks a lot!!

Geaux Saints!!!

Well it seems that all the tailgating excitement has died down since the thread was first started. NW Saint and I will arrive Saturday at 6:00pm. We will check into our hotel and head out to the New Orleans Creole Rest, to hopefully meet up with some of you all. I was hoping to get some tailgating in on Sunday, but I will wing it and just for people in Black & Gold Baby! I still expect a good turnout! See you all there! I look forward to meeting you! Who Dat Who Dat Who Dat sey they gonna beat them Saints!

i will be arriving with 10 guys for a bachelor party on friday and have 2 extra tickets which we paid 200 each in section 119 row ll if anyone is intrested. I will entertain any resonable offer. Please post where everyone will tailgate or stop before the game other wise you can probably find us in some bar heavily intoxicated in the downtown area. We are staying at the warwick hotel and have no real plans but to watch LSU on saturday and the saints on sunday.

I am going to plan on heading to the restaurant about 1PM before heading to Qwest.
