No, they weren't negative about the Saints when the 2024 schedule was made. But I can assure you that ESPN executives would love to have the Monday night game played in Lambeau against an opponent who is actually a playoff contender. By next Monday night the Saints will most definitely already have been eliminated from playoff contention and nothing short of a miracle will keep the country from seeing a very lopsided game that will likely have most football fans retiring early in the evening. Trust me, they aren't happy about this matchup anymore. For them it's just not good business.

Changes nothing about the fact that they can’t do anything about it because they’re so committed to trying to make NFL on Christmas No Matter When a thing that this is the matchup they’re stuck with. Christmas football on Friday or Saturday or Monday is reasonable, trying to do it on Wednesday is not.

We as fans might as well lean in on possibly being spoilers
 
I think we will keep it relatively close. I think Kendre will get some good yards. Hopefully SR will build on his pretty good performance against the Skins . . eh Commanders.
