I will admit, the screaming goats made me really laugh, but that's about it...Thor 4 is a deliberate insult.

The goats were funny the first time. By the 37th time the joke had run its courseI will admit, the screaming goats made me really laugh, but that's about it...
If she liked Capt Marvel, she'd probably love Ms. Marvel if she hasn't seen it yet...Thor Love and Thunder was really rough, no doubt. It could have been a lot better.
My daughter was asking if they'll do more Guardians of the Galaxy movies...she liked the button scene with Rocket leading the 'new' group. I don't know if anything is in the pipeline, though?? I know Starlord will have to be back in something.
Yeah I enjoyed that show, I will definitely be introducing it to her. She was a little confused about the difference between Captain Marvel and Ms Marvel lol.If she liked Capt Marvel, she'd probably love Ms Marvel if she hasn't seen it yet...
With the weirdest possible Zeus portrayalThor Love and Thunder was really rough, no doubt. It could have been a lot better.
Truly was. The potential with introducing all those 'Gods' etc was totally flushed...With the weirdest possible Zeus portrayal
That was awful. Right up there with fat Thor. Oof.With the weirdest possible Zeus portrayal
That movie is what happens when you go full TaikiTruly was. The potential with introducing all those 'Gods' etc was totally flushed...
I thought Bale's portrayal was solid, a little dramatic, but still interesting.
Everything was just all over the place, though.

Yeah, how it went from Ragnarok to Love and Thunder, I'll never know. And I really, really wanted to like L&T. Probably the biggest letdown of any of the Marvel films I've watched. I generally have a lower bar than most and like more of the lesser movies in the MCU, but L&T was just so bad in terms of legitimate MCU story-telling and relying on what we know about Thor and Zeus. Yuck.Dude tanked his own stock hard over the past couple of years. Pretty much killed his career at Marvel with the Thor 4 debacle (to the point that Chris Hemsworth was openly talking crap about it in the press), Next Goal Wins was a box office bomb and critics were pretty harsh on it, and based on stuff that's been said, his Star Wars movie is in that weird "This is probably cancelled but we don't really announce cancellations," purgatory that Lucasfilm likes to do.
Those glory days of when he was a critical and commercial darling for the back to back success of Thor: Ragnarok and Jojo Rabbit feel like a lifetime ago.
I was hoping for a redemption arc, a glorious all-out battle with Surtur or Mephisto to secure a new Asgardian homeland where he finally grows up and takes the mantle of King.Yeah, how it went from Ragnarok to Love and Thunder, I'll never know. Couldn't agree more. That redemption arc would have been epic.I was hoping for a redemption arc, a glorious all-out battle with Surtur or Mephisto to secure a new Asgardian homeland where he finally grows up and takes the mantle of King.
Instead we got...whatever the hell L&T was.
