Seriously, with Kang's history, he could've been a Thanos level big bad if done right.

Just comparing the build to that in Phases 1-3 that gave us Endgame.
At the end of Phase 1, all we got was Thanos smiling. Phase 2 we got him in Guardians and the end credit scene in Ultron with Phase 3 having the 2 Avengers movies featuring him. Compare 1 to 4, 2 to 5 and 3 to 6. He Who Remains was in Phase 4 but it was more than smiling and Ant-Man 3 is giving us Kang but he's going to be in the movie more than Thanos was in Guardians and he's got most likely 2 Avengers movies so it seems to me that if anything, they're ahead of where they were with Thanos especially since he didn't do anything but order Ronan around in Guardians.

I normally agree with you, but I would rather wait and see what they do with Kang before jumping to conclusions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this Ant-Man starts Phase 5. I don't think think they will nerf Kang. My expectation is that they are about to start forking up the multiverse.

fify.

Hopefully, they won't make him as stupid as the MCU version of Thanos. I'd be happy with that right there, but I'm hoping they can reach Netflix/now MCU Kingpin level big bad with him. We'll see where the scripts take us...

Thanos is a lot of things...but stupid isn't what comes to mind. Or do you mean how he was portrayed was stupid?

Fwiw, I'm a pretty big fan of how MCU Thanos was portrayed.

Love the Ant Man stuff but I have a feeling this is not going to make any sense to me. I also realized I like the super hero’s that have no powers but rely more on their thinking and their gadgets. Such as Hawkeye, Batman and Antman.

Yeah, while a few fans complained about Thanos being a Malthusian eco-terrorist in the MCU, it still seems more interesting than “incel looking to impress female personification of death so he can finally score.”

Forgive my ignorance--but all I know of MODAK is the bungling dope they made him to be in almost every iteration of the various cartoon shows, what gem/stone powers him?

After watching Loki, I believe for a we are gonna see different Kangs before we get the "Endgame" Kang. Curious to see what time lines get altered.
This is already a different one, correct? I don’t remember the face scars or whatever. But yea either way I agree.

I don’t think he’s powered by any stones, but I may be off base there. I do, however, want to use this to plug the Hulu cartoon.
