Severance is kind of like Lost. Good mystery and good cast (though not as pretty) but they drag out the mystery too long and I am not sure they know how to end it. Both shows are worthwhile in the beginning because they are new and fun, but they fizzle.

How can you know if they know how to end it or if it will fizzle when there has only been one season?

It's a bit of a slow burn but I think they moved pretty far in the story line for just one season and I suspect they already know how this is going to end. Whether it's good or not who knows?

Really good show, very different, and I’m ready for season 2!

I am thru 6 episodes--I can't describe what it is and that's exactly what makes it so riveting (to me)...
I can't wait to find out what the heck Lumen really is and what they are actually doing.
The writing, acting, sets/feel and score are incredible.

Irving character had some wow moments...seems like his outie was really up to some stuff.
That list he had!
The stuff with Helly being Helena was a massive shock.
Lumon background was interesting and I don't even care that it's still mostly a mystery.
What the heck happened with Mark's wife?!?
S2 is going to have massive expectations...I have so many wild theories percolating

I think it’s unsevered Helena on the severed floor, not severed Helly (seems easier to track by name since she’s using different names depending where she is). I think she was studying the tapes, and it was sus they didn’t go into the whole “we’re going to give him what he wants”. One of my coworkers also said her elevator didn’t ding, but I didn’t catch that

Re-reading this with more awake eyes, yea I think we agree here (heck, we possibly haven’t actually seen Helly this season outside of flashback)

However so many people seemed to have picked up on it, I’m expecting some counter move next week

I love the idea but (and I didn’t rewatch s1 so memory is fuzzy), but Helly is more likely to torch the place than play a con
But maybe they’re getting at there being some leakage between helly and Helena
That’d be fun

I think Helena's interest in Helly's kiss has a sense of inspiration/jealousy in that Helly was able to find something that Helena didn't know she was missing.
