Traffic lights at W Esplanade and Causeway out. And no JP to control traffic flow.
We are getting pummeled with snow up in WI (away from the lake). They called schools and canceled pretty much everything today and will likely tmrw too. We've got about 3" of heavy/wet snow with another 6-8" coming thru this evening. A little burst of another couple inches Wed night and then a possibly even larger event FRI night/SAT morning--could bring another near foot of snow. Behind that is a cold front that will keep us around single digit highs with lows at night below zero. Winter has finally arrived.
yeah just learned that Friday will be another cold front meeting up w/ warm front down here resulting in round 2 - and all that GOM moisture being dragged up creating yalls snow event
Big Shovel propaganda controls the upper quadrant of our nation.
Late this weekend into next week, I think we're gonna find out if those "improvements" ERCOT made after the Feb 21 winter storm were adequate. Looking brutally cold.I'm in the Dallas area and we just had a front start moving in, assuming this is what will move to LA soon. It got helllllla windy within 2 hours and temps dropped down to the high 30's.
Stay safe over there.
Let's hope that the "improvements" will work. I don't think we're getting snow, but I could be wrong. I've seen wintry mix.Late this weekend into next week, I think we're gonna find out if those "improvements" ERCOT made after the Feb 21 winter storm were adequate. Looking brutally cold.
That should go well.
Looks like there may be a slight chance of wintry precipitation in southern Louisiana early next week.
But as is often the case, this is likely a sensationalized outlook/forecast.
