Shanle gives insight into Saints Pay for Performance system (1 Viewer)

Oh and by the way, why is practice squad written under my username, it reminds me of freshman year, scout team defensive tackle (was team captain the next year though)

Say a guy put up money to take out a player then cart off and knockout is somehow bounty and use that as justification. But if Vilma never did it then there never were bounties and negates all punishments

As much as I've hated Goodell all offseason for all the crap he brought to the Saints, us, Saints fans, need to understand and admit that in the eyes of the NFL or whatever court or judge that we could bring this case to, a pay for performance that rewarded "hits" and a pay to injure will always going to be viewed the same way. Yes we're a scapegoat but we were stupid to do it so obviously with so many evidences that were available for investigators. Keeping a ledger? That is just dumb! Allowing some dude we barelly know to film the pre-game speech of a playoff game? Stupid!

It's like speeding on the highway, everybody is doing it but everyone knows that if you're only 5mph over the limit, and if you have guys around you going faster, you won't get caught. It's always the idiot who drive just a bit faster than everyone else that get arrested.

Good post. Not one that's going to resonate well on this board, I know. But it's hard to deny it. This team was incredibly stupid at nearly all levels in this mess and is paying for it.

hmmm Im not sure what to think of this.. part of me says i wonder if Scott's days in NOLA are numbered , given the new DC , and figured to come clean throw GW under the bus OR is Scott trying to vindicate GW and clear the air of all this speculation?
Im sorry I didnt read the story just the teaser.. i know Scott's trying to defend his club... just wondering why all of a sudden they speak up..

You just joined, therefore you are on the practice squad, As you make more points and get more history/rep your user title will change.

We have to remember that the big thing in the background here is health care benefits. While some of the 2,000 players who've sued the league truly have serious injuries, there's some cases I question. My eyebrows went up a few months ago when John Fourcade became one of the plaintiffs. As they say on TV: "C'mon, man!" Issues with the head may become the football version of when people call an ambulance after a fender-bender to MAKE SURE they say they have back pain, shoulder pain, etc.
