Shedeur Sanders will not work out for teams at combine (45 Viewers)

This shouldn't be a surprise.
Yeah, unless youre a QB whose best trait is running & mobility like Milroe or Richardson from a few years back, there’s really no need to workout on the field. Even then, there’s really no need for it. None of those on field drills really helps or hurts a QBs stock. The interviews & 1on1s w/teams is where it all happens for them.

I really don't get the hype with this dude. If his last name wasn't Sanders, he would not even be considered a first-round pick let alone top 2 pick IMO.
Jaxson Dart has a very good opportunity to further showcase what he can do while at the combine. He will jump into the top 10 if he has a successful time there.

He has been with several different offensive coordinators and still performed pretty well. I look at this as a positive and his stats improved quite a bit.

Jaxson Dart will more than likely go before our 9th pick. There is a higher chance that Sanders will still be there than Dart. I really don't want us to trade up in the draft. This is why I like Sanders or Jeanty at our 9th pick since I think one of them will be there for us.

Most drafts have him as the first or second quarterback (Cam seems to be ranked higher on most boards I've seen), with Dart possibly sliding (unless he helped himself at the combine). I'm kind of intrigued by the kid from Syracuse.

I feel like the workout would be beneficial to a lineman or someone but to a QB that has the camera on him at all times there's plenty of tape to watch.

I don’t know what a QB like Shedeur really has to lose by opting out. He’s going in Round 1, I don’t think anyone disputes that, even if he slips 10+ draft spots - what are you insinuating he’s missing?

His father is Deion, so is the couple hundred thousand to $1M of lost first-year money as important as where he goes? Hell, falling 15 spots to a team that is already decent and maybe Shedeur away from contending is actually way better for the kid.

A lot of players with high draft potential do this now, they wait until their pro day where they're more comfortable in their home facility.
