He should be in the Saints hall of fame and we should have statues of all four Dome Patrol guys around the stadium. This and Wikipedia says that he is in the Saints own HoF so I am not sure what is going on there.

The ROH is a bit more "prestigious" so I get Pat's annoyance. The ROH is reserved for the elite of the elite. Brees is probably next up for the Ring of Honor. (of this current era, Cam is probably the only one getting Saints HOF and ROH, though Kamara will have a good argument for ROH).

Rickey and Sam are viewed as the two best of the Dome Patrol so I get it. I wouldn't be opposed if they put all 4 in the ROH eventually though.

If I’m not mistaken Pat is the only Saint to win NFL Defensive player of the year.

I actually think he has a legit gripe. Honestly never thought about it before. 4-time Pro Bowler with us, Defensive Player of the Year, played with our most famous position group of all-time with its signature nickname of Dome Patrol.

I hear him on this.

Can’t just single out 2 of the 4 in this instance.

Agreed, and you can drape it in “only group of four linebackers to make the Pro Bowl from the same team” regalia to justify it. There’s no downside.
