Should Saints bring back Michael Thomas since Shaheed could be out? (1 Viewer)

You will never see Michael Thomas in a Saints uniform again. That bridge is burned to a crisp.

Well, at least he has his college degree to fall back on. It certainly gave him the ability to speak the English language at a high level. English professor, perhaps.

Pretty sure the team leaders don’t want him. If I am Cam, Alvin or DD, I want to hold this locker room together and pray some people get healthy. MT is the opposite of holding the locker room together and frankly, I think Adams would have been almost as bad.
I mean you're right. He only came in on one leg to give Brees a shot at a Super Bowl. He only said what 90% of his teammates were thinking when the race stuff was going on. But yeah, they don't want him around.

Do we go tryout MT? I mean pride aside and all let’s see if he can provide a big target that can get open for a Rookie Qb.. Who else is available for trade that we can afford if not him?
Why? They do not play the same position nor do they have the same skillset.

On top of that, there is a reason no other teams were or are after MT.

Then, why would we want to add a former disgruntled player to the same situation he was disgruntled about? That is just a recipe for a disaster.

Not attacking you or anything, just saying it would be a bad idea all around for many reasons.

I'm all for it. Get him cheap fpr 2-3 years

No. Put in some work. Scan all the practice squads for some rookies with potential. Even if it's just for the return game. Cutting Perry was a mistake.

Possibly, but I'll say it's not a mistake until he's on an NFL roster and producing. Until that happens, it's the right call.

The Saints had succes in the first half getting the TE's involved. Getting the ball out quickly. Nothing in the second half.
Our OL and RB's did a horrible job of picking up the multiple players that TB sent on blitzes...

It was disappointing that Kubiak did not make any in game adjustments once TB stated blitzing Rattler like crazy...

The coaching staff is incompetent plain and simple. Its almost as if they suffer from amnesia. Always trying the same things, never learning from mistakes, never make adjustments or come up with a new gameplan.

I have soured on KK, he never does any of the things good OCs do. Even if you got CFL talent at least try different formations, get different players involved. At least try to confuse defenses. Instead of hand off in the middle, short pass, or hard to complete passes.

Eh, he's 5 games into his first season with a crap ton of injuries and shuffling the line, among other things. As much as they want to say the playbook is fully open for Rattler, it's really not. I'm not so sure any adjustments would matter much. KK has got to figure out how to tweak is offense to fit Rattler's instead of Carr's. The Tampa defense is actually really good and Rattler starting his first game against them was not ideal.

It's a long season. I'm gonna give KK 2 seasons to figure it out. Allen on the other hand has been in place long enough for us to know who he is. I'm over him.

If we get rid of Allen, I am almost certain we go offensive HC with our next hire, which means unless that guy is Kubiak himself, he’s likely one and done here.

I was just talking to a buddy of mine (Giants fan) about this last night. If you bring in a new head coach, you have to let the individual pick his own staff. The chances of KK staying on would be slim.

No.
We don't need the locker room/morale on injured reserve too.
