Bayless and his schtick wore thin a long time ago and audiences had competely tuned out of the show (there was a run of episodes in the spring that did less than 50k viewers).

He really has nowhere left to go unless ESPN gets desperate and wants to pair him with SAS again. But that seems unlikely. Bayless isn't worth his asking price anymore.

He may get desperate and become a radio hack.
