It's dropped to 12 degrees here in Virginia tonight. It's been a while since it was last this cold. We haven't had much snow here the last 5 years or so.
 
My better half is freaking out about freezing pipes. Every pipe outside is well wrapped. Got two faucets running a thin stream inside. And on top of that … local temps aren’t going to drop THAT low.

Don’t you pretty much need to have sustained temperatures in the low 20s or high teens to really have pipes freeze? We’re getting snow, but we’re not getting those kinds of temperatures.

It depends on how long the temp is below 32. If it is below that for 12 hours or more your pipes could freeze.

All of my outdoor pipes are underground and I don't think I have to worry about the ones under the sink. lol Unless my yard becomes a tundra, I'm probably good to go.
 
First snowflakes started falling about 15 minutes ago in Gonzales. Not quite cold enough to stick yet but the snowpocalypse has officially begun.
