I looked at Week 14 and see that the Failcons are playing at Green Bay on December 8 tentatively scheduled for SNF. I wouldn't be surprised to see that game gets moved to Fox and the Saints vs. Panthers game in the Dome flexed to Sunday Night.

The consensus on 506Sports is that Panthers-Saints and Lions-Eagles are the most likely candidates to be flexed in to the SNF slot.

It should absolutely be Panthers-Saints.

Right now, the Denver Mannings are in line to be flexed into every prime time game. The league wants the Mannings so bad, they are considering letting them play on Sunday night and Monday night, even though games on consecutive days is unheard of in the NFL. They're that good and popular!

The league and the Mannings are going to be disappointed if this MRI today shows something ugly on Peyton.

remember FOX and CBS get to protect one game from being flexed.

the year DET @ NO was flexed (in 2011 i think) FOX protected the NYG vs GB game.

Carolina is legit this year, that would be a hell of a game for the whole country to watch on primetime tv.

For number of viewers they would protect Eagles-Lions. They don't care about how good of a game, they want viewers and Philly gives them that.

Can someone give me a better understanding of the rules for flex games? How soon do they have to let the fans know? I have tickets for the Dec 8th game and have a friend coming down for it, they were expecting to be leaving that afternoon to go back home. Just curious how much time we'd get to make plans around that.

12 days notice is the minimum although it could be sooner on games that are flexed. Of course Fox has to be willing to give it up too I believe.
