What is the usual technique you use to shovel the driveway when the is a huge snowfall?

I tend to do it in stages

I'd much rather shovel 6 inches of snow twice than a foot once, especially when it that wet heavy snow, great for snowballs but for shoveling we call that heart attack snow

When we had a blizzard and we got over 2 feet of snow I think I was out there 4 or 5 times

I don't do it when it's snowing heavily but if there is a lull and will start back up again later I'm usually out there trying to keep it manageable

Shoveling the driveway?

I don't know why everyone insists on shoveling all of that. It's going to melt.

Move to a small island nation in the South Pacific

I'll push the shovel straight ahead like a snowplow, and do my best to lift and dump directly ahead at the end of the push. I used to scoop, lift, and throw the snow off to the side but my back doesn't like that anymore. Esp with heavy wet snow.

That is what I do

I just wish there was a shovel for tall people

My back always kills my from shoveling hunched over
