The lack of news from the Saints today means nothing is going to change for next Thursday, right?

Pete Carmichael is going to get yet another chance to disappoint. And if by some miracle he doesn’t, there goes another week without making any of the necessary changes that could potentially salvage our season. SMH at this coaching staff… Does anyone actually think this will start working all of a sudden?

You don't make changes like that on a short week. If we get embarrassed again, you might see something happen.....but I'm not holding my breath.

It didn't happen after last year when it was glaring obvious he was incompetent.

No clue why some of y'all think DA will make that call now mid season.

I mean it wasn't going to happen anyway, but making a major change like that before a Thursday game would've been massively stupid.
Right… but based on the recent decision making by this front office and HC, it was still a possibility.

At this point, I don’t believe PC is going to be fired before the end of the season (if at all)..

…I’m just hoping DA has the stones to take away play-calling from Pete and give it to Curry.

Nope... we beat the Jaguars, who may be without Trevor Lawrence, and Allen will declare everything's fixed.

At least by all reports we looked into making a change at OC but everyone we targeted wasn’t available, so at least they recognized it, which gives me hope they will make a change in season.

HIGHLY doubtful that the team will make a mid-season change at OC so adjust your expectations as necessary...
1) Changes to a coach at that level on the team are rare and almost always do not yield positive results
2) Unless you have a line on a guy that you think is a long term solution at OC, why put someone you don't have a long term vision for now, only to remove/demote them over the next off-season?
3) My guess is that the team (players & coaches) have a better understanding what the issues are, and likely don't fall as much on Pete as the fans would think

The only way we beat J-Ville is by sheer accident. Will anything change win or lose is highly unlikely

i see us beating JAX energized by embarrassment and frustration. Then when we're 4-3 and satisfied. We'll take off the first half vs Indy and let the chips fall where they may in the second. This is the problem I have w/ the team. They arent self driven they only are driven when backed into a corner. And eventually the see-sawing stops, then we drop 2 straight, and even 3 straight. Im just calling what im seeing. Until i see different we're staring at 5-12.
