So… No news is bad news, right? (1 Viewer)

The lack of news from the Saints today means nothing is going to change for next Thursday, right?

Pete Carmichael is going to get yet another chance to disappoint. And if by some miracle he doesn’t, there goes another week without making any of the necessary changes that could potentially salvage our season. SMH at this coaching staff… Does anyone actually think this will start working all of a sudden?
i see us beating JAX energized by embarrassment and frustration. Then when we're 4-3 and satisfied. We'll take off the first half vs Indy and let the chips fall where they may in the second. This is the problem I have w/ the team. They arent self driven they only are driven when backed into a corner. And eventually the see-sawing stops, then we drop 2 straight, and even 3 straight. Im just calling what im seeing. Until i see different we're staring at 5-12.

For all the calls for Pete's head remember that in season the team won't be learning a new offense. They would only change play callers with maybe a few different play designs incorporated into the offense along the way. Unless the new play caller can also play offensive line at a respectable level not much will change.

Saints fans screamed for Carl Smiths head for 10 years with no change. A lot of 9-6 wins and 13-12 losses. Great defense. Inept offense. The difference then over the past year and six games is Winning. Fortunately, the Saints sit at 3-3 and there is a lot of football left to play. They can still right the ship.
