That and preceding several plays were bad calls. Too pass happy.

I get it, he wants to do right by Drew and win a championship because of his arm. But dang, it’s so frustrating seeing only 18 handoffs between the two backs. Both backs should be touching the ball at least 15 times. This team needs to adopt a run first mentality.

The run was working.

the unbalanced, pass heavy approach is fully discredited as a championship formula.

One of the stuffs came after another run.

On both of those plays, we tossed it 5 yards back to the RB when we only needed 1-2 yards for the conversion. No need to call a slow-developing play, just plow ahead! This is another trend of Payton's that sacres me.

So you don't think SP makes more ill advised play calls with DB in the game?

I think the play calling during DB absence shows that he definitely calls a different game. And I think it was better play calling during that stretch.

And the defense certainly played at a higher level.
