I'm glad I only paid for redzone this year. If this front office isn't willing to make change with the product they trot out every week, it isn't worth investing my time. Its just bad football and not entertaining. The success the saints have are on fluke prayers that land in the hands of our talented receivers. The offense is so inept. The defense would probably be fine if the offense was decent. But no pass rush and not being able to contain any QB makes it unbearable on that side too. DA has no balls and no control of his team. I called it in another thread. "Will they go back to under-utlizing Taysom?" sure enough...

He said everything we’re all thinking. I think for the first time in 20 years, I’m gonna stop watching. Never thought I’d say that. The Saints are my first love. It’s just not worth dedicating time to something you know is a lost cause. When Ms. Benson decides to be a business owner, I’ll watch.

I actually tuned into another game this past Sunday. Had my phone following the Saints game so I can keep up. Tuned back in when I seen Carr went down, not bc I was excited, but bc I wanted to see how bad of a hit he took. I can’t remember a game where I just didn’t care to watch our team. That is what DA has done to me as a fan. It’s just not fun football. I don’t need alot of points if a game is a defensive battle, but to watch a team so inept at offense, dating back to last year, enough was enough for me. As long as my team is playing fundamentally sound football, I can handle our opponents beating us, or shutting us down, but to continue to make self inflicted mistakes, and stupid decisions, there’s only so much I care to see. There’s just no fun. At least our 7-9 seasons with SP, our offense made it fun, despite our defense being historically bad. Give me something to believe in. Even if it’s the smallest belief imaginable. It’s to the point now, where I’m shocked when we pick up a 1st down

Right. If we sucked but were doing what it took to fix it, fine. But we suck and it’s “we’re not making any changes. I just need to figure out a way to make our team consistent.”

That is absolute garbage. Any other employee on the planet putting out a product of this quality would be fired. But our entire front office, starting with the owner, is clueless.

It’s time for Gayle to sell the team. Time to get an owner in here with some cajones….metaphorical or otherwise.

I’m not on the get rid of owner/GM train yet. My aim is at the . He has the ability to make necessary changes but he’s still stuck in headlights. Dude was gifted a 2nd chance at being a HC, with a ready made roster, with added pieces, and still can’t figure it out. Actually, is the real sneaky one, not Pete. I’m sure intentionally put this staff together, bc it ensures ML can’t replace him if things went super south during the season (no one to replace him with). I’ve figured out. So, we have being calculated like SP and PC getting “too cute” like SP. Those are the things they learned from SP, nothing else.

Right. I’ve been to a few games but I really feel for the season ticket holders that wake up Sunday like us only to fight thru traffic or worse drive hours away. We Drag kids and family to games for a team that u are supposed to proud of and all the while it’s not a good product. Don’t get me wrong, a third of teams in the league is doing this hapless trot every weekend. At least we are relevant.

On a personal note I revolve my life around the saints on Sunday and have for a looonggg time. I’m super excited on game day, go to the store early or the night before to cook and eat good, get all the alcohol and intangibles I need and bam we suck.

Sitting there thinking wtf. I don’t have to ask, I know many can relate. It’s sad but it’s rewarding when Mike gives his take as a real black and gold fan

Man, am I the only one who should have his shoelaces taken away after watching that video? I think that the reason it hurt so bad is because everything he said was so "spot on".

This was actually a good episode. Most of his stuff he’s irrational and can’t give credit where it’s due if it doesn’t line up with his previously shared opinion. However, this was good and seems to be accurate, unfortunately.
