Why are you crying so much about a play that was completely irrelevant to the game?

Because there was a small chance that it wasn’t irrelevant to the game. If they were hell bent on throwing it to Evans, even if he had 6 men surrounding him, then let them. Who knows, could have been intercepted? Tipped ball and intercepted? If the goal was to win the game, the ONLY chance was to blanket Evans and hope Mayfield was dumb enough to force it to him.

I just read that he’s due for a $3 million incentive payment if he has at least 5 receptions and 85 yards. He’s probably happy Lattimore is gone!
