Sorry but I’m just not a believer in some of the analytics stuff as it relates to going for it on fourth or in this case, going for two.

The thing analytics simply don’t understand is the overall momentum of a letdown. It really halts the offensive energy and gives the defense a small victory.

It's actually slightly more reward than risk. If you get it, the next TD can WIN with 1 xtra point. If you miss it, you get a 2nd chance at 2 to get the tie you woulda got the first time around.
