The only one I can think being close was the finals in basketball in the 72 olympics.

I have never heard of what happened in the 72 Olympics but looked it up and I would have agree We lose by 1 point to Soviet Union after basically being unbeatable.

Sounds like that was possibly some good old Russian corruption or some type that came from somewhere other than the USA. We were 63 and 0,that in itself is crazy. Final 3 seconds,that must have been intense especially during the Cold War era.

They will be and Nix is getting very valuable post season experience in his first year. If Sean can keep his defense together and improve that offense they will be in serious contention for a Championship. Buffalo has been knocking on the door for the last several years and right now are the overall better team.

They need another WR. Either that or their current WRs need to get a lot better.

Also, I don't think things will come as easily for Nix. Defenses will likely adjust their game plans and figure out his tendencies. It's why a lot of 2nd year qbs struggle.

We'll see though. I think Payton will guide him through that adjustment.

Well I’m definitely eating some crow right now because I thought, especially after that first Broncos drive that SP would be able to come up with a winning game plan or call a better game than Joe Brady.

So far I’d say that grasshopper (Joe Brady) has called a much better game against a solid Denver defense. With that said, in my opinion I’m still not sure if Joe Brady is the right guy for our HC vacancy.

I could be wrong, maybe he is a guy that can command a locker room, go toe to toe with Mickey on personnel decisions, and assemble a dynamite coaching staff.
