Denver’s defense was ranked 7th in total yards and 3rd in scoring and against the run. Vance Joseph > Dennis Allen. The Bills are just a much better team.

Look at their defensive players. A literal squad of nobodies + Pat Surtain. Vance Joseph fantastically overachieved with what he had this season and it isn't like Denver's offense did jack to help them this game after their opening drive. If Payton goes full re and fires Joseph, I'd love for him to be the Saints DC.

The stats this year don't reflect that. Lamar has better numbers, but Josh will probably get the MVP because he hasn't won one.

They're on the road against a superior team, the defense has been solid the whole year.

It's been a good and successful season for everyone. Would be a mistake to make any drastic changes especially when that Defense played a big role in carrying that team while Nix developed.
