NFL Sunday Wild card playoffs [Merged] (2 Viewers)

But you also gotta have an oline. The Saints don’t even have grandmas in rocking chairs protecting their QBs.
You also need depth and a good scheme. Washington does not have a bunch pro bowl guys on the line and think their LT is a 3rd round rook.

That attempted end around that Baker put on the ground and the one they lost a lot of yards on inside the red zone ultimately cost the Bucks a chance at the end. Stupid calls when Bucky was gashing them off tackle already.

No cinderellas so far in the playoffs. I expected the Commanders to win, they were the better team overall this season despite not winning their division. IMO

That’s awesome.
I remember that too. The first playoffs I was invested in. I hated the Bucs back then because my brother liked them, they were everyone's favorite team in Florida, and then I was sensing Gruden and the Glazers were a threat to the Saints legacy. The Favre scare for one.

Evans owned Lattimore last night.
Sure, and Washington made adjustments in the 2nd half, and in part why they won the game.

And it's possible his injuries have him playing at less than 100%. I wouldn't be surprised if he undergoes surgery in the offseason.

Even at 100%, he's probably approaching the end of his prime if not already there at this point.

Commanders made some adjustments in the 2nd half and bracketed Evans. Didn't hear Latt's name much in the 2nd half, thankfully.
Evans was abusing Latt in single coverage. It was ugly, and TB would have won the game had they not adjusted.

Evans owned Lattimore last night.
As much as I've loved Lattimore as a Saint, this game seems like proof it was time to move on. He always owned Evans his entire time with the Saints, so to see him get punked by Evans in that game tells me his peak days are past him, which saddens me.
Thankfully, coach Quinn learned from all the losing he did in Atlanta and adjusted, helping them hold down the Bucs in the second half.

If they were playing Philly next, I'd think they have a legit shot at making the NFC Championship game, but I don't think they stand a ghost of a chance against Detroit. Still, I was glad to see them beat the Bucs.
