That's right, y'all, breaking news. You heard it here first, before the EE, PDB, SSF and whatever acronym you want to put together. The Supreme Court has just ruled that video games deserve first amendment protection, just like art.

The case that went before the court was Brown v. Entertainment Merchants Association (formerly Schwarzenegger v. Entertainment Merchants Association) strikes down California Civil Code 1746-1746.5, which tried to make the sale or rental of mature-rated video games to underage consumers an illegal offense punishable by fines.
