I saw that too and thought about last season when I went out on picking NE over Cardinals at home and went out in flames. I too believed there would be a serious upset in round 1 - only Tampa shocked me. So I went safe and picked KC over the Jags. Round 2 is far more challenging

I figured I would roll with a Jax loss this coming week, but they play damned Raiders.

I know that Oakland gave Indy a game, but can I trust them to beat the Jags? I must admit, Jax looked awful in week 1.

Man, the Patriots tried their best to knock me out right away. Of course, I'm guessing about half the players were sweating the Colts' game. This is what makes this game so hard. Teams that should win easily sometimes don't always show up - and especially at the beginning of the year, we discover that some teams we thought would be bad have improved greatly (but, no, Paul, I don't think that applies to the Raiduhs, they just had a good day. I wouldn't trust them to beat a high school team).

EDIT: I just went to make my picks this week and discoverd that I'd forgotten that I changed to Seattle. All day Sunday I was worried about the wrong team - ha! Now I wish the Patsys had lost after all. I am going to go ahead and wish the NYets somehow man up and keep Brady from throwing a TD pass on Sunday (but it would be a miracle if the NYets could play that well).

Agreed. I decided to take a chance and selected the Saints. Even though I think we will win, it will be a tough game and if we keep them quiet for the first corner then I reckon we could put up 40 points.

31 guys picked the Pats. There is a strong chance they go down tonight! I picked the Pats then thought better of it and went with Oakland.... I am guessing this is the best chance the Raiders will have to win all season...
