Taliese Fuaga vs Myles Garrett (4 Viewers)

I think the guy was talking about Bowers--who is the rare generational TE and went right in front of us.
Bowers is great but personally I’d rather lock down arguably the most important position on offense after QB for the next decade.

There’s some good TE prospects like Loveland or Fannin Jr the saints can grab in 2025. I’d love Fannin Jr value wise.

Pass blocking was good but the run blocking still leaves a lot to be desired. Yes Taysom ran through em, but poor AK keeps getting hit in the backfield over and over. I'll take the W, but I wish they would give Alvin some running room.
I get what you're saying but other teams get paid to play football and I'm pretty sure that Kamara isn't a secret anymore.

Teams key on him and they know that they have to stop him.

I just don’t understand that logic. Nor the swap Penning/Fuaga idea either. I mean, if you want to cross train them in training camp, fine. And it it is spectacular, fine.

But for now, let’s just enjoy that these two young men are growing right before our eyes and checking off two HUGE boxes going into an important offseason for our organization.
A 2nd or 3rd round top guard and we’re set on Oline, might be time to draft a center if McCoy is starting to degrade.

Teams key on Derrick Henry, McCaffrey, Taylor, and the list goes on. Heck, when was Alvin's last 40 yard or greater run? Not knocking Alvin at all, just saying a player with his skill set should be breaking long runs and getting 100 yards games routinely.

Just remember, speed was never AKs forte, even coming outta college. Hes 8 years older now, n yeah you can see he’s lost a step.

But did you know that right now, da “old man” has 782 yds rushing n is averaging 4.3 ypc?

With 6 games to go n IF he stays healthy, AK is on pace for a 1200 yds, which would be the first 1000 yd season of his career!

I didn’t see it that way at all. We came out running at will on them. They stacked the box and for good reason when they can only name one of our legit receiving threats. At that point it became much harder to run. They were simply daring us to throw the ball. Lucky Taysom broke through a couple times and had some big runs, but they were selling out to stop the run after the 1st quarter.

You realize that you can’t always block everyone and depending on down and distance, scheme, play call, caliber of opposition, sometimes backs get hit for a loss and it doesn’t mean you can’t run block.

I don’t think this is a fair or accurate comment, at all.
