Tampa game - Sept. 16th (1 Viewer)

Who Dats please help me out. We are going to the game and were to be hooked up with free tickets. To make a long story short, the deal seemed to fall through and as a back-up plan I purchased 2 great club-level tickets and 2 cheaper tickets(non club).

The free tickets came through today and it is too late for me to sell the others on stub-hub or e-bay, Is anyone interested in these tickets? or does anyone have suggestions for selling these tickets this short notice of the game.

PM me if you are interested in the tickets or please reply with suggestions for a who-dat fan trying to re-coop some beer money!

Thanks

Try putting them on craigs list in tampa... for face value.. Craig's List is pretty amazing. someone will probably buy them from you and you can make the transaction when you get to Tampa..

O MY GOD! I am so pumped I cant wait to kick the crap out of those Bucs. I cant wait to meet up with the rest of the WHO DAT! nation at the sports bar in Ybor. GOD BLESS THE SAINTS AND THE WHO DAT NATION!

The sports bar in Ybor is called Rock N Sports Bar & Grille. It's at the corner of 8th Ave and 15th Street in Ybor City
(map here: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=N+15th+St+&+E+8th+Ave,+Tampa,+FL+33605,+USA&sa=X&oi=map&ct=title)

The bar is run by a lady from Metairie. There a lot of TVs everywhere, plus a few pool tables. In Ybor, 7th Ave is the Cuban equivalent of Bourbon Street and the French Quarter, so this bar isn't too far away. A lot of the NOLA ex-pats watched the Saints games here last season.

Send me a private message about where your hotel is, and I'd be happy to give you some pointers about restaurants and bars near your hotel.

NOLA Ex-pat in Tampa since 2006. WHO DAT

I look forward to seeing you guys there tomorrow...

I'm leaving in a few minutes! Unfortunately, I can't be in Ybor City tonight because I absolutely HAVE to watch the FSU game, but I'll be at the stadium loud and proud on Sunday!

Let's get a few Who Dat chants going at Ray Jay.

GEAUX SAINTS! WHO DAT!

sweet

I can't believe my luck. Through a friend of a friend of a friend etc. I just bought two tickets, 50 yard line 4 rows up. Exact seats are section 136 row D seats 23 and 24!!!! And this is the side the saints are on!!!!!! This is gonna be my greatest football day ever!!!! I will be at the stadium early so I hope to meet some of ya'll. Also for the after game ( for those who dont have to leave right away) My wife is the bartender at a local tampa bar called cornerstone pub. Its about 7 miles north right off the main road (Dale Mabry). Anyone that would like to come up after the game is always welcome. I could use some fan support because the bar is a stupid bucs bar...But they will be crying in their beer tomorrow!!!!!
Geaux Saints!!!!!!
Justin

I just got back from the Rock N Sports. There was a huge table of rowdy Saints/LSU fans there. (Poor Brittany--the only waitress for the group) Not sure how many sr.com folks were there. Only talked with one other who asked if I had known any of the sr.com group. (I didn't.) I was in my black #9 jersey at one of the high tables.

I hope Brittany (the only waitress for that rowdy group) got a huge tip.

I was there.. I heard those guys saying that they spent $ 2000 on drinks during the day there, so I am sure they had plenty of money to throw around. They looked like they liked the waitress, so I am sure she got a good payday..

Tampa was awesome... except for the game...

And the heat. Whoever here wants an outdoor stadium needs to make the trip there. NO THANKS. Im never driving to a game again. Except for Houston.

Except for the game result and the heat, my experience in Tampa was positive. Nice stadium, nice fans, nice parking layout (no lines leaving after the game), nice malls, nice beach, nice airport. Their street musicians outside the stadium leave a lot to be desired though. :)

Bravo Tampa. Thanks for the hospitality.

Those guys were us. Brittany was a good sport and was well compensated for her efforts and what she had to put up with.

We dominated that entire city beginning at Friday around 4 pm. and ending at kickoff.

That stadium reminds me why we need to keep the dome. If I had to watch a Saints game in the daytime heat while I drank, I'd stay home.

Cheers to all Saints fans who were there.

All I have to say is 14 -2 ... WHODAT!!
