We are currently at #10 @ (5-11) in draft order for 2025 Draft. We play Sunday @ Tampa Bay

Important games to watch if we hope to slide inside the top 5 Picks on Draft Day.

1. Chicago Bears #9 (4-12)- Sunday @ Green Bay
2. Las Vegas Raiders #8 (4-12) Sunday- Home against LA Chargers
3. New York Jets #7 (4-12) Sunday- Home against Miami
4. Carolina Panthers #6 (4-12)- Sunday @ ATL
5. Jacksonville #5 (4-12) Sunday- Sunday @ IND

Potentially without going through all tie-breaker scenarios we could fall all the way down to the number 5 pick.

As Monday night’s game showed, the losses will take care of themselves.
I guess the Raiders are pretty bad, but the Saints are playing on a short week with a home crowd that will likely be unenthusiastic. I wouldn’t pencil this in as a win, particularly given the pathetic state of the offense.

Good, no point in winning the last two games. A lower draft pick will be much more appealing to a new staff.

Because the Saints played so poorly against GB, I think they will play enthusiastic & tough football against the Raider's.

Yep. It's going to be very difficult, if not impossible to get better than the #9 pick and probably can't get worse than the #11 pick. So the wins and loses in the next two games don't really matter much. I'd just like to see Rattler get at least some protection and have someone to throw to at WR and hope to see improvement. The best thing that could come from this terrible season is to see promise in Rattler in the next two games. If we don't, we really need to look hard at the QBs in this draft and even trade up if we think we are in range of a future franchise QB. Carr is an average QB, but regardless of how good you think he is at his age and in his contract situation, he isn't going to be our long term QB so we need to find one.

One interesting option is trying to trade for Malik Willis at Green Bay. Not sure how much Green Bay might want, but he seems to be a guy with potential.

Willis looked really bad in Ten. I really hope we don't invest any draft capitol in him. . In fact i would not draft a QB this yr. This is a yr to build the team WR , DL maybe an IOL guy because our Gs are the weak spot on the OL. Maybe we can sign a vet FA OG or 2 and make Ruiz the backup C and backup OG

He did. But he has looked good in GB. Tenn. rushed him to start too soon but he appears to have seriously progressed in GB. I think he would be worth a shot with around a 3rd round pick.

I’m hoping the Saints go Wide Receiver, Guard, DT, and Safety or another IOL with their first 4 picks. First two has to be WR and Guard.

Offense desperately needs a top WR prospect who can put points on the board and step up when Olave and/or Shaheed are inevitably unavailable for extended periods.

Carr or Rattler really needs good interior OL preventing constant interior pressure so they can scan the field and get the ball out to open receivers.

I feel like the team can be competitive with anyone if the current QBs have offensive playmakers and interior OL protection. Those picks can give the team immediate improvement to at least stay in games next season.

I don't really like any of the QBs in this class and I certainly agree that we need a X WR with size. I also agree that the positions you identified are the places where we really need help.

At WR, the guys we have are good players but I think they are to small to take the pounding and stay consistently healthy. Just not sure the value will be there at WR in the #10 pick range since Tet will likely be gone. So hope they go BPA or trade down.

And, sure we would be fine at QB next year with Carr if we add weapons and fix the OL, but we need to think long term at QB and Carr isn't the future. It's possible to build a team that can win a lot of games with a mediocre QB, but the margin of error is too low long term.

Something needs to be built that Carr can execute and Rookie Prospect 2026 can come in and learn before Carr is on his way out. If the breaks of picking a top-rated QB prospect don’t fall the Saints’ way and that winds up being Spencer Rattler doing the learning, then sure. If there’s a highly regarded QB prospects in the 2026 Saints’ draft range, good. It’d be akin to Alex Smith leaving the ‘18 Chiefs in good hands.

I think maybe it should be if BPA is a WR in the 1st then that's the pick , but if its a DT or a DE then we go that way and get the other position in the 2nd
I'd rather find a OG in FA so it's not another rookie starting on the OL
