Anyone involved with a school district in or around New Orleans? I am a certified English teacher for both middle and high school. I sent my resume to some of the districts last summer, without really knowing which ones were open again, etc. If anybody has a connection, hit me up. Thanks.

I am an elementary school teacher in Mississippi. Just found out Friday that my salary will be probably cut by $6000 I have been toying with the idea for some time of moving to the NOLA area. We go quite often, as it's not but about 2 hours away. I have looked online at many of the school sites. Can anyone shed some light on what parishes, or certain schools are ones I should check into, and maybe some I should not? Thanks for any input.

Dont know for sure but Slidell might have some nice schools.... I know my family there loves the public school there kids attends.
