Its on the players as well getting those holding penalties as well as others team can't overcome bad plays and drive killing penalties. Coaches are bad but players have fault as well. You get a great int. And no points. What was the players only meeting for.

Now maybe a play with more shorter routes could have been called but the 1st read was JJ on that option route and if DC would have waited , and he had plenty of time JJ had a step on the DB. It was DC making the wrong choice
 
Yeah. I don’t think that play was called to go there. I think it was called to go to JJ over the middle, but ended up a fade ball because of whatever Carr saw.

Outside of that…. I agree with your premise E…. Bad coaching and all that entails gets you in that position to begin with.
 
And a good coach probably can't overcome a bad GM. No HC or a new hire who hopes to stay as one in the NFL is going to come here as long as Loomis is the GM.

Who should of gotten the call? Colston? Graham? Moore? Thomas? Olave?

Our brain trust didn’t even have the only teo offensive threats available on the field.

This team is vastly underperforming its talent. We need better talent to be a true contender, but we have enough talent to be competitive in the NFC South if we had good coaching.

We saw this GM with a good head coach. The result was a Super Bowl win and 15 years as a contender for the Super Bowl.
 
Sometimes it's just time for a change, I find myself feeling bad for everyone involved and just want to get back to when coaches, fans, players were all having fun enjoying it. The big difference is the players and Coaches get paid, so something needs to be different.
 
I think that call was all Carr. DA said they were targeting the TE not WR. However, got Carr because DA wanted him. So I agree it's all on DA, bad Coach, bad program, bad leadership, bad preparation, you name it. We need to be selling talent today. If Carr has any trade value he should be shopped also. We can lose just as easily and cheaper with Rattler
 
My wish is to find out if Haener is the next Brock Purdy. I know that isn't gonna happen.

Players play as well as they are coached and right now the Saints are a very poorly coached team. I've seen bad coaching before and not just from the Saints but this is nothing but a whole lotta bad right now!
 
A team takes on the identity of their HC. Ours either has no identity or his identity is losing. Told y’all long time ago. This guy is utterly clueless. If you have the look of a deer in headlights than you are one, more often than not. I will literally celebrate the day that I open this forum and see 40+ alerts, with all of them saying “(he) has been fired…..merged”. I want our team back. I’m not even excited about draft position. I just want someone to believe in
