From what I have read, depending on the location of the break and the severity of it, a complete recovery can take anywhere from 6 to 12 months.
That is the expected time for healing. The time to regain full function as a professional athlete in a contact sport that requires running is on a case-by-case basis.
There's also a possible change of gait, a loss of speed and quickness, weaker muscle tissue in the leg and the chance of suffering a reinjury to the bone.
Adebo may be able to recover and return to the NFL and play in the 2025 season but it's also possible that he misses the entire 2025 season and longer.
