The Lattimore trade’s effect? (1 Viewer)

It gives the young guys valuable reps for next year. So far so good. I get the loyalty thing, but I hope they don't re-sign Adebo. I also hope he gets well and gets paid handsomely elsewhere.
We need to resign Adebo and get a better scheme that does not put our corners in so many positions to fail, being a heavy man team leaves opportunities, your one missed tackle from a 5 yard gain turning into a 59 yard gained if your the only line of defense.

I do remember years ago seeing WRs catch the ball with no one within 5 yds.

Latt is TALENTED … But Latt can’t stay healthy … I’m good with the value we got, all things considered … part of shrinking salaries while getting younger. … It is what it is, and I’m more than good with it. It’s a game I love. But a business in reality. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Taylor > Adebo
They both have a lot of PI calls. I think Adebo led the league in PI calls before he got hurt. Taylor has picked up right where Adebo left off. Taylor actually gets beat more than Adebo did.

I love the guy. What a shut down corner.

And him punking Mike Evans for years has been one of my favorite things ever.

And it just might be coincidence……but it’s still accurate.

Since the Lattimore trade…..

Saints 2-0
Redskins 0-2
Lattimore - Missed both games.

Still love Latt….😎
i’m still huge on latt. winston was a little to good for my liking as jeudy and moore killed us. if latt plays i guarantee only one of them woulda been good

Empty yards.
14 points.
Yep! Give Jaboo his for playing as well as I’ve seen him play in a long time! He was really locked in against his former team!

ATL “shredded” our D too, but only came away with 17 points.

Bottom line: If the D can hold opponents to 15 -16 pts the rest of the way AND we stay healthy on O, we good! 👍🏾

Adebo should have been benched. Allen refused to hold guys accountable for bad play. I do not care that Adebo led the team in interceptions either. His technique was terrible (always running with back to the ball).
This is an assanine statement. Taylor is a good player, an ascending one at that but Adebo is simply more talented

Latt's days of being a shut down corner are in the rear view mirror. We did the right thing by getting those picks. IMO.

Both Adebo and Taylor are talented corners that make plays, people defining players by mistakes will always lean toward the negative but we have a talented trio now with Taylor, Adebo and Kool-Aid, the cupboard is not bare at all.

I pretty much agree, but Taylor is a vicious competitor
who tries to dominate.
The problem I see with him is that he looks at the QB too much and loses track of the receiver. It's not as bad as Chasin' David but that is what he is starting to remind me of. Hopefully he comes to realize that his primary responsibility is to prevent the receiver from getting open then prevent him from catching the ball.

I got back to Louisiana on the 8th and the Saints haven’t lost since.

It’s me, I’m the difference maker 😎
I thought it was me. As soon as I boarded my plan to head out of the country, DA was dismissed. Now my family is telling me don't return for the sake of the season, lol.
