The one thing I hate about the Rams game already... (1 Viewer)

For those that downvoted this post, here are a few factoids I just uncovered with about 10 minutes worth of research…
Only one downvote that might not actually be a downvote (but maybe). I think folks were agreeing with you.

There were three definite ones at the time I made the post, one was removed or changed. Doesn’t matter though. Didn’t intend for that to be the focus of the post.

It sort of messes with me and my wife's norm.

Drive to Baton Rouge, LSU game, drive to new orleans, get a room, wake up and walk straight to the dome. Not used to having 4 hours to kill on game day. Guess we'll hang out at champ square and watch the band.

Worst part is the 4 hour drive home after the game, which will probably be more like 6 hours with the post game traffic. Oh well... my wife actually likes listening to Bobby when we're in the bumper-to-bumper for some reason. lol.

Well the Chargers played on Monday night and they get a early eastern game against the Falcons, while the Rams played Sunday night and now get an late east coast game against our Saints>>>> HHHHMMMMMM
This is it, they had to split the two-team market games’ kickoff times. Option B woulda been an afternoon kick for the Falcons vs. the Chargers and nobody wants that

Or option C, don’t have both of these two unique matchups under unique circumstances on the very same Sunday.

Too much sense for the league to do that.

Oh, that's right. PTSD time.
While there are certainly more important things in life like God, my family (and their health), my job, that game took something from not only me but our fanbase. Something deep inside, the fire still burns. I get upset everytime a see a PI called that's not even close to what we experienced. Sickening to this day. I guess that's called PTSD.

The late 3:05pm start time is not because of the Rams. The real reason is that the Bayou Classic is being played on Saturday afternoon. The late kickoff on Sunday gives more time to clean up and prepare for the Saints to play.

That's a good point and the most likely reason.

Sure…but of all times to do this, they absolutely had to give us a home game this particular weekend, and it JUST so happens to be the Rams game, the one home game we have against a west coast team that would love the most to have a 3:00 start? Not to mention I don't know if we have EVER had a home game scheduled the day after the Bayou Classic, at least none in recent history, and the one time they (presumably) needed it to happen, of all games, they chose the Rams game to be the one that coincides with it?

I wasn’t born yesterday, Roger! 😂

Yeah I love a good NFL hates us conspiracy, but the Dome probably requested this with such a short turnaround between games.
