Maybe it’s just because I was tired but that was sloooooww. I see where they’re going though. There’s a part of the movie that lulls and it reminds me of that.

As of right now you can probably hop in without having seeing The Batman, but you’ll be missing some context.

Threw it on during work today, it was definitely the tired thing. I'll have to give it a proper rewatch this weekend. Cristin Milioti is killing it as Sofia.

Yea, it picks up pretty soon after the events of The Batman (like maybe a couple days?). You'll get the gist of what happened, but it will spoil that movie for you. No idea if that'll hold and they'll start making more references later. I know it's a long movie, but it's really good - you can probably skip some bits in the middle if you want.

I finally caught up on this. The show is legitimately incredible, and no slight to Colin Farrell who is doing great work as always, but holy crap is this a career defining performance for Cristin Milioti. The last episode was so good and she absolutely killed the metamorphosis of Sofia pre and post Arkham.

I was never a fan of DC but this show and Sofia Falcone...err Gigante, is an unbelievable character. And I loved they gave us her backstory pretty early on. And the actress playing her is marvelous.

I started this one Friday night around 10 pm. I was so enthralled I watched all 4 til 130am.

It's fantastic.

I think he is a figment of her imagination that helps her square up what she has done (mentally and emotionally ) akin to an imaginary friend.
