The Reggie Effect (observation with question).
During his college years, with Reggie Bush on the field, USC always had the #1 offense.
Sean Payton has been coaching and playcalling for many years. Drew Brees has been quarterbacking (while throwing to Gates and handing it to LT, two of the best at their position), Deuce has been running and breaking tackles and scoring TD's for quite some time, and Joe had been catching and making plays for quite a while.
Reggie comes to the team and we instantly have the number one offense.
Is this primarily based on the face that just we have the right mixture (coaches and players)?
Or does Reggie Bush really command so much attention that it undoubtedly makes his offensive team unstoppable (#1)?
Thoughts.
