Did anyone else see the spin move that Marcus Davenport used in the game? Where did that come from? I have never before seen him use it. It was sick! He is really starting to come on strong. He got 2 Sacks yesterday, just after I was a little critical of him a couple of weeks ago. He looked really good yesterday. God, I hope he keeps developing.

Good on you DR for the follow up after the criticism. Not sure if he visits the site, but if he does the praise will do wonders for his confidence.

Do you know when it happened? I didn't notice it, but would like to see it.

Certain guys just sometimes seem to have more raw power than everyone else. Guys with the Saints that I’ve felt this about, Big Jahri Evans, Nicks (younger years), Hicks, and now Davenport. It’s funny because he doesn’t appear to be as strong as he plays based on appearance.

He truly is a physical speciman. Seeing him next to other players, he just looks like a beast. He's had the tools all along, but it obviously takes a little time to develop into a great NFL player. He's had the privelage of getting schooled by Armstead since day 1, and we are now seeing him with more of the confidence and experience he's been lacking. Good to see him learning new moves, because last year we saw flashes of how great he could be with just pure strength and athleticism.

His confidence seems to be sky high right now. I just hope he continues to try new moves, and put them in his repertoir. I still can't stop thinking about that move. It happened so fast. I almost missed it, and would have if I hadn't been focusing on him at the time. It was incredible.

Last year when we played the giants is when I was like “whoa” Davenport is strong. He had outside containment on a run play and just ragdolled Saquan Barkley who is probably the strongest back in the league.
