The Spin move was "sick" (1 Viewer)

When he held his on against Tyron Smith who arguably the best the LT in the league I knew the light had come on. Go Davenport.

Tyron is legit however he held Davenport most of the second half. I mean literally holding on for dear life. We have a monster in New Orleans.

"Yes" Davenport "has improved" since the "preseason"

Needed "someone" opposite of Cam for "years" and finally got that "person"

"This". Cam has needed a bookend ever since Junior went to the beach. All due respect to all of the DEs who have played opposite Cam but Davenport has a chance to be the best of the bunch.

From just a raw physical talent standpoint, Davenport is probably the most gifted DE I've seen for the Saints. He has the freakish size/speed we've seen from players like Julius Peppers and Mario Williams. The question was whether or not he could take those natural gifts and apply them to the field. And that's what we're seeing now.

I totally agree. I was critical of him earlier in the season, but he has highly impressed me these last 4 games. And, as I keep harping on, that spin move he showed in the last game was absolutely amazing. He just keeps getting better. He is becoming the complete package. He's even good against setting the edge against the run. Now, he is adding moves to his pass rushing repertoir. Impressive.

The burst off the snap he has is unreal. I know he's standing, but still. He is moving and half way across the line before others are even out of their stance. That's hard to stop.

I wanted to see what Mr. Belt (aka Junior) was up and his Twitter is gone. He delete it?

Last year when we played the giants is when I was like “whoa” Davenport is strong. He had outside containment on a run play and just ragdolled Saquan Barkley who is probably the strongest back in the league.

I remember that! That just doesn't happen to Barkley like ever, until Dav found him.

that was one of good plays vs saquan, it was another i was hoping you were linking. wasn't a 7 yd loss, but was close to no gain, where he one handed grabbed him when got to line, and dropped him right there.
wish i knew where was in that game to be able to link it. .

he has more speed and power than we're used to.. heck, i think he is still getting accustomed to the power he has.
