I'm sure I'm not the only one who still watches the Walking Dead universe.
I see The Walking Dead: Dead City premiers June 18th 2023.

The series follows Maggie and Negan traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan cut off from the mainland in search of Maggie's kidnapped son, Hershel. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.
Years have passed since we last saw Maggie and Negan and they must now form a tenuous alliance in order to accomplish a dangerous mission,” reads the synopsis. “Maggie and Negan journey to the island of Manhattan, which, having been isolated since the beginning of the walker apocalypse, has developed its own unique threats. While in the city, Maggie and Negan encounter native New Yorkers, evade a marshal with a troubled past, and hunt down a notorious killer. But as the pair moves deeper into the gritty depths of the walker-infested city, it becomes apparent that the traumas of their tumultuous past may prove just as great a threat as the dangers of the present.”

Even though Maggie and Neagan somewhat made peace with each other at the end of series, Maggie wasn't ready to forgive.
I'm assuming because he saved Maggie's son once already, he sees this as an opportunity to get that forgiveness he wants by helping her again.
I am looking forward to watching.

This definitely has a chance to be worth watching, I like that it's a short run.

I am actually looking forward to the Daryl Dixon series. the new Zombie looks interesting. I feel like it could lean towards the origin of the outbreak and maybe a cure..
I am not sure about the Rick and Michonne show..

Shoot, I still like the entire universe enough to keep tuning in. The Daryl show could be quite different. Rick/Michone better be awesome. After seeing the new trailer for the final season of FEAR, I am even excited. Big time jump to be at the same spot as the rest of the universe and Morgan even trekking back to his old home in ATL and talking about Rick.

i stopped watching whenever Negan was in "jail" so i might have missed some important stuff but how are Maggie & Negan friends??

they aren't friends. they had to work together and saved each other's lives, and Negan saved little Hershels life.
They did a really good job with Negans character. he truly has changed, but still has the cocky personally. Plus, Daryl and Carol do get him to do the dirty work when it came to the whisperers. the last Episode, Negan truly tried to make amends, but Maggie wouldn't let it happen. she does accept that Negan has changed, but she basically refuses to accept
his apology.
