I just drove through the Garden District on Prytania. I was amazed at how many multi-million dollar manions whose owners are no doubt millionaires had HUGE "Vote for Amendment 7" signs.

Most rich people don't mind paying the tax if means a safer city, better educated city. I mean come on, some of these schools don't have text books and some of them still have mold growing on them.

And that is the problem, why would those people think the money would be used properly? Especially after the fiasco at the City Council on Thursday.
