To help a few of the female posters on the board, here are some things we guys like...

1) Sex. we go to things we don't like with you (opera, symphony, shopping) in order to get sex. We will do almost anything you want as long as you give us sex.

2) We just sat through a damn opera for you, can you please just let us watch some football without bothering us? If you like football, that's cool, but please don't use this as an excuse to constantly impede on our guy time.

3) Steak. Of course in Louisiana, our palettes are wider and we appreciate a lot of different foods, but at the end of the day, a steak on the grill is the best. Of course we will go to places and eat all kinds of stuff with you, but every now and again, get us a steak please.

4) Explosions and cool fight scenes. I am a movie snob of sorts, but i still enjoy a good fight scene and explosions. If you want us to watch "when Harry met Sally", please revert back to number one.

5)Booze. Of course we all enjoy a good bottle of wine, but if you really want to impress us, keep some beer and scotch around. I don't know one guy that will turn down a cold brew.

6) Our own space. Most households are decorated by you, so give us one damn room. Let us have our own space and please don't try to help with that space or try to change that space. Just leave it alone. Another thing about space, it doesn't just concern a physical room. You want us to do things with you all the time, but we like to do things on our own or with other guys (see number two). Give us our cigar smoking, beer drinking, female objectifying guy time please.

7) Adult material. Look, it isn't you. Please don't give us grief about adult material. This is purely physical and has nothing to do with our relationship or how we feel about you. Of course we are satisfied with you and we love you. Again, this has nothing to do with any of that. Just let us look at it without problems please...

Well, ya need to introduce me to some of those women, cuz in my area and age group those kind are hard to find.

Well in my experience, give them an inch and they'll take a mile (which you'll never get back.) So if I make it clear from the outset that I will watch football for six hours every sunday and need my space, etc. then usually they respect that. No faking liking chick flicks and cuddling at first, because she'll always expect that from then on.
