If we win then we pretty much rest the starters next week. If we lose than next week's game is critical.

I hope this team plays loose since it's not a critical game. It should help us fans to know that we need to win one of the last two to secure the #3 seed.

Everybody enjoy the game with expectations clear. I'm sure I won't heed my own advice and will be yelling at the TV tonight.

Wrong. We keep playing in case SF loses to the Rams.

So youre saying we shouldnt worry about trying to play a flawless game, and that we should instead just play carelessly??? What?

And what is this "not a critical game" nonsense??? ITS THE FALCONS.

Cmon man.

I hope they play lights out tonight. It's a good chance TB has already threw in the towel. So I don't want to be like :scared: :upchug: hoping we pull it out vs. Carolina. I just don't want to go into next week's game feeling like our lives depend on it. Hopefully they just handle their business tonight, which I feel they will

I'm really glad you're not the coach. Some of your posts lately have been
Bordering on the ridiculousness side lately. Maybe you're just trying to save face invade of an upset, idk?

Every game against Atlanta is a critical game. Critical to my mood, my mindset, my wellbeing.... lol. For me, nothing feels better than a Falcons beatdown. Other than winning a Superbowl... There are no guarantees in this one, but I really hope things go our way. I'm sure there will be bats or some other motivator rolled out for this one....

I want to see Mike Smith red faced and losing his mind on the sideline, smashing headsets, then I'll know all is right in the game, lol....

I'm not talking logic, I'm talking about not letting the Falcons win in our house.

Not happening, not this year.

No question we don't want them to win in our house but from a logical standpoint the game is not critical. My hope is we play loose and kick the Clowns all the way back to ATL.

As long as the second seed is any type of possibility, although remote, then this is an important game. Stranger things have happened and if by one chance in a hundred the Rams win next week AND we lost, we would be lamenting the loss big time.
Drew and Payton will also be focused, even if they won't admit it, on getting the Marino record tonight. That in itself should make for a wide open and high scoring game.
