they asked Marcellus Wiley who they thought would challenge Green Bay in the NFC. They were giving all the love to SF, Chicago, and even mentioned the Cowturds. Not one time did they even mention the Saints.

I'm having trouble believing that you could actually try to leave the Saints out of that group. Chicago? Dallas? Please! Are you kidding me? Which team actually needed just one one more yard to tie the game in their house in the season opener and gave the Pack the biggest scare of the season? Which team is 7-3 with 4 of 6 remaining games at home?

There's having a valid opinion, and then there's blatantly and knowingly ignoring what's in front of you.

I'm not one to play the no-respect card, because I really don't care, but you cannot argue that there isn't a level of inequality when it comes to the 7-3 Saints, and other contenders:

Baltimore has lost to Jacksonville, Tennessee, and Seattle, but they are still contenders and favorites in their division. I watched them play Seattle, and the Seahawks handled them much like the Rams handled the Saints. The Ravens have a mediocre QB, an off-on running game, and a defense that is still good, but old. Yet.....

The Eagles are 3-6. 3 and freaking 6. They've lost every tie breaker possible, and need to pull off 7 straight to have a shot. They lost 4 straight at one point, their defense sucks, they constantly blow 4th quarter leads, and I don't know what the hell Andy Reid is thinking most of the time. Yet, they are "in trouble". Let us trade places with Eagles, and we'd be done, and they'd be a shoe-in at 7-3. Convince me otherwise.

Let Atlanta get to 6-4, and it will be "New Orleans better watch out because they're hot". They've been the model of inconsistency all season.

Dallas got rocked by a bad Philly team, win 2 straight against Seattle and Buffalo, and "they're back. This is the Dallas team we know they can be!"

Yes, I listen to sports radio, I watch NFLN and ESPN, and I see what other Saints fans do regarding us, but it doesn't bother me. What does bother me is that in every damned thread, someone has to slip in our loss to the Rams this year, or the Seahawks, Browns, Cardinals - from 2010. MOD EDIT

Sorry, but I read that in the voice of

Most analyst's even give more love to Atlanta than us. You can actually hear people upset that we won the game last Sunday. Most people on TV were picking them to win the division this year. Let the media hate and let us fly under the radar, because that's what will push our team to the superbowl again. We love feeding off of negativity for motivation.

The saints never get respect plus ....Loose to an 0-6 team and you go to the back of the pack for a few weeks. This team has to prove its consistent. We lost a lot of cred last year against the Seahawks when all the media looked stupid for getting on our bandwagon. The good news is this isn't the NCAA do it doesent matter what espn thinks.

The media lose cred because they are stupid and don't know much about football, not because we make them look bad. I mean, they are in the entertainment business.

The result last year Seattle was not shocking at all, espacially playing in Seattle, with a hobbled Reggie Bush, no PT, no Ivory and Julius Jones. No running game whatsoever.

Hasslebeck was on that day. Even in the game we played them in the dome earlier in the season Seattle moved the ball pretty well but shot themselves in the foot repeatedly.

I'm shocked that people were shocked by the outcome. The punctuation mark of the run by Lynch was indeed embarrassing, but if you know football you should not have been shocked that Seattle came out to play, at home and told they didn't belong.

Yeah and the game commentary is not the we let up with a 10pt lead and were on the verge of blowing them out....but we were lucky to win because Mike Smith made a dumb decision.

Maybe not even that. If Colston doesn't fumble, Saints possibly win, and that's not even considering a better outcome on the failed 4th and 1 in the first half that resulted in 0 points.

If we score on the possession that Colston fumbles, then that 4th & 1 becomes a non-issue. We kick a field goal instead of attempting that last gasp pass that netted us the pass interference penalty...

They brought it up again this morning, around 5:35ish, and this time they threw New Orleans into the mix, but qualified it by saying, "but they're a dome team, and they'll have to go to GB." Fine, but I still don't get why they're throwing Dallas in there, other than to appease the Cowboys' idiot fans. They're basically a dome team, too, and just because you score 40+ on Buffalo doesn't mean you have a super offense.

I'm starting the "__________ did not mention the Saints when talking about the ____________ . Geeze! What an idiot. I feel so disrespected" thread.

Wiley is, and I don't throw around the term lightly, an idiot. I've not heard one insightful opinion from that guy. When the Rush Limbaugh-may-buy-the-Rams issue came up not long ago, Wiley repeated fabricated quotes Limbaugh had supposedly said in order to characterize Limbaugh as a racist.
5 minutes of research would have revealed those quotes as lies. Screw that guy!

The Saints are ONLY the only team to give GB a legitimate game this year... and we did it at Lambeau under impossible circumstances.
