Post Payton/Brees was always going to suck. The self inflected issues are most troubling. Poor contract management, questionable acquisitions and rolling with the lesser of Payton's staff (DA & Carmichael) because of continuity was poorly considered.
It's ground hog day Saints fans. Middle of the road results while paying top dollar for meah talent and no depth.

Right now I feel like we are the Atlanta Hawks of the NFL. We are doomed to be in and around .500 forever. We are never going to be flat out bad enough to get a top pick. We might make the playoffs for sure but honestly how far would we go?

The only silver of hope for us is we are banged up. We can get healthy and dare I say it depending on how bad Carr is hurt we might should make that trade for Adams. Having a WR that can make a play on the ball would help because we are getting nothing from our TE’s.

Speaking of TE’s we will also get Willie Gay back at some point soon and that will help us to be able to cover TE’s at least.

We just really need to beat Tampa but I kind of suspect Tampa is going to get mangled by the hurricane on Wednesday, so come Sunday I have a feeling we are going to be playing an emotional an inspired Bucs team. We have to dig and find a way to get that one in a desperate way.

I was too, I remember 5 -6 yrs ago the saints were bout to lose I got so mad I stepped out smoked a cigarette and bout time i walked i remember seeing the smile on saints players and i was like I'm out here getting lung cancer and high blood pressure and I'm not even on the payroll

Its funny cause this loss didn't bother me. This game was going to be a tough spot regardless of health or record when the schedule came out. Its the last 2 games that hurt. You can't lose games you should have won.
